Religious Formation aims at helping the candidate to be a full person and a deeply committed Christian so as to prepare her for a total consecration of herself to God in the service of the church and humanity in keeping with the Spirit and Charism of the Congregation. (Const. Art.72)

One of the important Charisms of PSA is to empower women through direct evangelization so as to help the women and orphans. In order to make this vision a reality, we train the Candidates, Postulants and Novices to equip themselves in various platforms.

Our candidates hail from various states of India such as:

Rajasthan, Punjab, Haryana, Gujarat, M.P, U.P, Assam, Arunachal Pradesh, Jharkhand, Orissa, Kerala, Tamil Nadu, etc.


Aspirancy & Postulancy

The initial formation (Aspirancy and Postulancy) – which lasts for two years – is in their respective Provinces. This formation helps them to come to know the congregation and its charism.

Novitiate

After the initial formation they go through two years of Novitiate formation – aimed at strengthening their spirituality, getting familiarized with the constitutions and ways of proceeding of the congregation, and imbibing its spirit – in the Generalate at Madar, Ajmer.
